Designed for hikers, backpackers, geocachers, hunters, fishermen, cross-country skiers, mountain bikers, search-and-rescue personnel, and anyone else who wants to learn how to find their way in the outdoors, this class does not assume any previous GPS experience. Monday's evening session combines lectures with group exercises on the SRJC campus. In Saturday's field session, you'll put your knowledge to work in group and individual exercises in the Bodega Dunes on the beautiful Sonoma Coast.
